I was involved in the pre-deal separation and post-deal integration of a £2bn divestment of a telecoms infrastructure company.

The challenge for the client was that they wanted to integrate and efficiently run their UK procurement within a group of companies - aligning with group processes and ways of working. 


Building teams

I designed and implemented a UK operating model that effectively integrated UK procurement as part of the overall company group processes.

I took a hands on approach around training users and user acceptance testing of group finance and procurement systems - working closely with the European group team and aligning to their way of doing things.

I was able to offer a clear pathway forward which resulted in the model running efficiently and as a unified business across the group - and my work helped enable the client to initiate the 5G rollout.
