With an over-sized base of 1,000+ active suppliers, the client was struggling to drive value from their supplier agreements.

Their challenge was that there was no efficient way for them to procure goods and services across the business - and they needed a more strategic approach to improve their capability to do so.


Greater efficiency

I was able to design and implement a procurement framework - with a set of processes and buying guides for buying products and services that gave them more control around their supply chain.

This model saved them £1million+ in the first six months and it was expanded from UK IT facilities management to a working group with other heads of procurement across Europe.

It creating a network of good practice, resulting in an improved controlled environment being put in place and a material reduction in the risk level of concern.
